Saturday, Dec. 14 between 12 PM-2 PM, Chuck is letting Secret Santas loose inside Citadel Mall.  It could be anyone.  Ask everyone you see, “Merry Christmas! Are you 101.7 Chuck FM’s Secret Santa?”  If you find a Secret Santa, Chuck’s got a gift for you!  Could be a game system, a smart TV, a drone or a gift card to one the stores at Citadel Mall!

Just be at the Citadel Mall between 12 PM-2 PM on Saturday, Dec. 14 and remember the magic phrase!

 

Contest Rules

On Saturday, December 14, 2019 between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM 101.7 FM listeners will be invited to the Citadel Mall in Charleston, SC to play the “SECRET SANTA GAME”.  Designated “Secret Santas” (representatives of 101.7 Chuck FM) will be roaming the Citadel Mall during the contest times of 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.  Contestants who approach a designated “Secret Santa” with this exact phrase will win a Secret Santa prize: “MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM 101 SEVEN CHUCK FM.  ARE YOU CHUCK’S SECRET SANTA?”.  The wording must be exact with no variations.  Contestants who ask a designated Secret Santa the winning phrase will win one of the following prizes chosen at random by radio station judges. 

Secret Santa prizes and approximate retail values are as follows…

  • Instapot Dua Nova – $59
  • Amazon Fire TV Stick with 2nd Generation Alexa Voice Remote – $40
  • Apple Air Pods – $25
  • Amazon Echo Dot Smart Speaker – $90
  • Sharp 55” TV – $329
  • (Additional Secret Santa gifts/prizes may be revealed at 12:00 noon at Citadel Mall on Saturday 12/14/2019)

Prizes provided promotionally by participating record labels.   All winners will be notified immediately.  In the event of a tie the designated Secret Santa will make the final decision.  The decisions of the designated Secret Santas along with any other station representative will be final.   

The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state-issued identification or a valid Military ID and are 18 years of age or older. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.   No purchase is necessary.  Participants can only qualify once for this contest. 

WAVF contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 21 or older have not won anything on WAVF in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WAVF, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred-mile radius of the WAVF main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
