Brighten the Holiday for an MUSC Ambassador as He Awaits a Transplant

As a young boy, he was featured in the video for Darius Rucker’s holiday song “What God Wants for Christmas.” As a young man this past spring, he was a part of the check presentation ceremony for our MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Radiothon.

Today, Hunter Taylor is back at the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. Born with half a heart, Hunter has reached the point where he needs a heart transplant.   On Nov. 2, he was admitted and will stay in the hospital until a donor heart becomes available.

We’re asking you to keep Hunter in your thoughts and prayers. And, to brighten his spirits this holiday season, to send him a card. Here’s his address at the hospital:
