The Charleston Running Club’s signature winter event is coming up in the new year, and you can be a part of it! The Charlie Post Classic 15K Run/5K Run & Walk is happening in Sullivan’s Island on Jan. 24. This event celebrates and honors the memory of Dr. Charlie Post, a family physician and avid runner, as well as an active member of the Charleston Running Club. Dr. Post dedicated his time and medical talents to the Charleston Running Club and served as the head of student health services at the College of Charleston.

Participants can register today for either the 15K Run, the 5K Run, or the 5K Walk throughout certified courses across Sullivan’s Island. All proceeds benefit the Dr. Charlie Post Scholarship Fund, Sullivan’s Island Fire and Rescue, and the Charleston Animal Society.

Tickets are available now, but prices will increase after Dec. 27!
