Towne Centre and Charleston Animal Society proudly present PUP BOWL IX on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 12 PM to 3 PM at The Oaks, across from Barnes & Noble. Pup Bowl IX is a pet adoption and family-fun day. Cheer on the cutest football game you will ever see! The event will also feature fundraising for Charleston Animal Society, live music, kids’ activities and much more.

Tickets purchased in advance are just $10 per person, children under 12 are free! 100% of all ticket entry fees will be donated to Charleston Animal Society. Day of event ticket price is $15 per person.

Pup Bowl IX will be emceed by Silvana Bravo with music by DJ Luigi of Latin Groove Entertainment. The event kicks off with the Lucy Beckham High School Pep Band and our National Anthem will be performed by a student from Bach to Rock.

Enjoy an incredible halftime show by The Novatones, who deliver high-energy rock and roll with powerful vocals and dynamic dual guitars.

Food + snacks available from Zimos Gyros, Holy City Spuds, Aroi Thai, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Holy City Popcorn, James Brown Famous Boiled Peanuts and Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, plus beer & wine from Burtons Grill & Bar.

Stroll amazing local puppy-themed vendors including Park West Veterinary Associates, Palmetto Veterinary Hospital, Zoomin Groomin, Portside Veterinary Hospital, Peace Love Puppies, AcutePet Urgent Care, The C.A.R.E. Project, VEG ER for Pets, Barks and Books and Advanced Animal Care of Mount Pleasant, plus event presenter South Carolina Federal Credit Union.

Kids activities include balloon animals and glitter tattoos with Carol’s Balloon Art, face painting with Faces by Faith, Fairy Hair with The Sparkle Bar and caricatures by Dawn.

One lucky adopter will win a $500 gift certificate to Park West Veterinary Associates, which can be used towards their first puppy wellness visit, recommended testing and deworming, recommended vaccinations, and more.

Kickoff is at 12:30!

Rules of the Game:

  • Potential adopters must visit the CAS Registration Table prior to kick off to receive a registration number.
  • Potential adopters wishing to register AFTER kickoff time MAY be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
  • Adoptions will be decided by random drawing.
  • If your number is selected, you may choose a remaining pup from that quarter only. In the event you do not want a pup from that quarter, your number will be placed back into the drawing.

Intermission: Once all pups in the quarter have been selected for adoption, spectators may give a donation to come on the field, as space allows, for no longer than 5 minutes each turn.
