Bringing Louisiana to the Lowcountry @ The Lowcountry Cajun Festival
Saturday, April 18 | Noon-6PM | James Island County Park

Come out to a day of blending Cajun and Creole culture at James Island County Park! The Lowcountry Cajun Festival is happening again on Saturday, April 18th, and everyone is invited! Experience the bold flavors of Cajun and Creole food, enjoy dancing to zingin’ Zydeco music, and let the kids have fun with all sorts of activities! It’s a full day of all-out ragin’ Cajun fun!

Some of the best Cajun and Creole foods will be available to savor, such as alligator, étouffée, jambalaya, and of course classic crawfish. Other festival staples like Southern BBQ, hot dogs, and sno-cones will be available to pick up as well.

The Lowcountry Cajun Festival will also feature live musical entertainment and small stage performances. The live music schedule features:

  • Ceasar Creole Soul @ 1PM
  • Canebrake Cajun Band @ 2:30PM
  • Corey Arceneaux & the Zydeco Hot Peppers @ 4:30PM

And the small stage performance schedule features:

  • “Shell Stories, Let’s Talk Turtle” Children’s program presented by All Things Acre @ 12-1PM
  • “Secrets of the Swamp” Children’s reptiles and amphibians program presented by South Carolina Aquarium @ 1-2PM
  • Crawfish Eating Contest @ 2:30PM
  • “Shell Stories, Let’s Talk Turtle” Children’s program presented by All Things Acre @ 4:30-5:30PM

Tickets for the Lowcountry Cajun Festival can be purchased by clicking here or will be $40 per vehicle the day of the event.
