Lowcountry Forever – 10th Annual BarBrewGrass Festival – October 18, 2026

LOWCOUNTRY FOREVER – October 18, 2026
GUEST: Suzanne Auld, Founder and Director, BarBrewGrass
ISSUE: Children’s Health
Each year more than 200,000 children are treated at the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. Those families have expenses from those visits, some which you wouldn’t think about. Suzanne Auld discovered those expenses when her son was being treated for leukemia at the Children’s Hospital. From her experience, she formed BarBrewGrass, an organization that provides cash payments to families at the hospital at random times. The cash is to help with expenses like food, parking and gas driving to and from the hospital. BarBrewGrass raises that money through their annual BarBrewGrass Festival. Auld provided the details on her organization, and on the 10th annual BarBrewGrass Festival on Sunday, November 8th sharing how to get tickets and the entertainment line-up.
