“Super Feels”

Welp.  The Super Bowl is upon us. Let’s be honest. The past few years, the commercials have been all kinds of meh. However, 2020 looks like they are throwing down again. I am actually excited for once.

Here are my picks for the best.

I could listen to this all day.  Sam Elliot is how every man in America wants to age.  Go ahead, throw an “old man” at him. ‘Cause you know he makes you thirsty ladies.

Lil Nas X  throwin’ some basequake. No Billy Ray as of yet. But this is the tease. I am hoping for a Sam Elliot/Billy Ray mash-up. “Old Town Road” ain’t goin’ nowhere.

Mountain Dew went all in with “The Shining.” Bryan Cranston going cray-cray with the Dew. It’s pretty awesome (and weird). Here’s the original:

And then there’s the Cheetos MC Hammer mash-up. Gross. I hate. I mean HATE Cheetos. Let’s just say I had a bad experience in college. The residue. #Hork. I can’t. I just. Oh GAWD. NOPE!

And finally…

This is the commercial for Google Assistant. Loretta. This made me cry. Hard. At work. It’s simply the sweetest commercial ever. My grandparents, Lester and Josephine, had this. It’s relationship goals times 100. My own relationship didn’t work out, but I know the feeling. I haven’t cried like this since the opening of “UP.”

Why not? If you have it, hold on to it. Ellie and Carl. Loretta. Josephine and Lester. Ugh. I am NOT CRYING. Where’s the Buffalo Chicken Dip?

Josh O’Connor usually hates watching his movies for the first time. ‘Disclosure Day’ was different

Josh O'Connor heard a quote once that said that Steven Spielberg was like "the director of every child's imagination." The British actor may not have grown up in a moviegoing family, but he was still very aware the Spielberg thing as a '90s kid. It's just in our psyche, O'Connor told The Associated Press in a recent interview.
